Gorgeous Dress

Ashley Olsen, the on the left, is wearing a creation by Diane Von Furstenberg. The dress looks amazing on her, one of the few outfits which really caught my eye. Therefore, I'm posting it on my blog to immortalize it.

Her sister looks like a stranded mermaid.

Thank You, Friends, For Having An Awesome Taste in Music

Yes, again, not the actual music video because.. I live in glorious Sweden! But it's the music that's good.. it's the music that's important.

For this musical beauty I have to thank my crazy Polish redhead for. Thank you for supplying me with awesome beats. And not making me watch Might Boosh - for all those hours I spent sleeping on a sidewalk in Manchester for you. And for me losing my camera in the chaos. And not sleeping for 3 days. And for experiencing the life of a hobo. I now know that train stations don't actually have any heating systems whatsoever, thanks to you.

Random Extract From a Conversation

This is called kharma, Sak. And as we say, usually, after every evil comment (even when we don't actually say it - our subconscious mutters it for us in the fear of being hit by a train in the middle of a rail-less field...) we say "God bless us" or, "god bless them, they're fat - they're lost poor kids of the universe. BLESS."

Emily Dickinson - Will there really be a morning?

Will there really be a morning?
Is there such a thing as day?
(2) Could I see it from the mountains
If I were as tall as they?

(3) Has it feet like water-lilies?
Has it feathers like a bird?
(4) Is it brought from famous countries
Of which I have never heard?

(5) Oh, some scholar! Oh, some sailor!
Oh, some wise man from the skies!
(6) Please to tell a little pilgrim
Where the place called morning lies!

Sounds so good

I love this song, I love the new Black Eyed Peas album to bits. Now that I have spotify I can listen to whatever song I want whenever I want and it doesn't take an eternity to load.

There is just one little thing that bugs me with youtube. Or maybe it's just me and my amazing luck, kharma, ying yang whatever - but no matter what song I choose, no matter in what country I live in, it is NEVER available. It's like, "sorry, but this song isn't available in your country. Even though everything else is." Wherever I am, Sweden or England.. there is always THAT song that doesn't work, so you have to find dodgy, crap-ass, quality, home-made versions of the song.

THat is why this version of "I Gotta Feeling" is filled with amazing advertisement and the pickels are so big you don't know if you're watching a music video or abstract art gone ballistic.

My Obsession With Flowers

It started when I was observing my mother's orchide's. At that point we had at least 15 of them and once a week or so she would carefully take care of them. I probably enjoy taking photos of flowers more than actually owning the because nothing except my ten year old palm tree has ever survived me. I manage to kill a cactus once, that's how sad it gets. And you didn't even need to water that thing, like ever. I began taking photos about a year ago, because every other plant I passed just looked more beautiful than the one before. So instead of constantly promising myself to save images in my head, I started actually taking pictures.

Welcome

I'm sitting in an over-crowded, tiny-ass Stockholm apartment, waiting for my fatigue to entirely take over me so that I can actually turn off my computer and go to bed. Just yesterday, at one point, there was 10 people in this hole of a residence, which is even too crowded for 2. I had to go beyond myself to find 10 chairs in the household. And then dragging them all around the kitchen table in a family-like manner. The screeching noises really went well with the indigestion of my what-was-supposed-to-be a delicious dinner.

I'm not here to complain about my apartment. Or the lack or room. Or that my dinner was ruined. I am here to share a part of my daily thoughts, of things that interest and worry me. I will slowly introduce myself in every post, so that it doesn't feel like I'm trying to sell off my information on some kind of cheap creep-factor match-making website.
